A letter from our family to you
The tradition of family farming has been a part of our story since 1887. HMC Farms is much more than a business to us, it’s a way of life. We have spent generations adapting our growing and handling practices to reliably provide the simple pleasure of great tasting fruit. Our actions are measured in ways that ensure we protect the environment for future generations and the community in which we live and farm.
The core of HMC Farms is an extended family of agricultural and marketing experts… people who have grown up in the produce business, and those who have invested careers in learning everything there is to know about growing and delivering a better piece of fruit for people to enjoy. Our management team, growing team, and marketing team work closely together with a single purpose: to reliably provide the best tasting tree fruit and grapes with consistent flavor every time.

Our family acquired the first piece of property. This 40 acre ranch is still in the family name to this day.
The Lunch Bunch®, the original portioned grape, was introduced into the marketplace with increasing success.

100 years after the first ranch was purchased, HMC Farms was created as a company founded on great tasting fruit.
Grape Escape® washed and ready to eat fresh grapes were reintroduced to the world of value-added produce.

We began planting trees in our new high density system, revolutionizing the way we grow tree fruit.

Rooted in our community

When we say that we are deeply rooted in our community, we mean it. We work, live, shop, and volunteer all in the same community. Peach trees and grapevines line the driveway to our office, and the soil we farm is also where we’ve raised generations of our family. This has cultivated a desire for us to give back to the land, our community, and the people who support HMC Farms.

HEADQUARTERS + FARMS
HMC Farms has cultivated great tasting produce since 1887, passing down vineyards and orchards through our family for five generations. Today, we grow fruit on over 6,000 acres. These farms support our packing, cold storage, and shipping facilities; allowing us complete control of our products literally from the ground up.
HMC KINGSBURG
HMC Kingsburg is the largest of our operations. It is home to our sales office, packing facility, main cold storages and shipping dock, export facility, and HMC Fresh Foods production facility.

HMC Reedley hosts our dedicated plum and organic pack lines. Our commitment to plums is unsurpassed in the industry. We have chosen revolutionary varieties of plums and plumcots, with a focus on flavor and eating experience. Each year our organic production increases as consumer demand for organic fruit rises.
